When the President of American Vets Tribute Bike Inc. Carla Spence ( Veteran Tribute Bike’s 501- (c) (3) non profit organization) is not accompanying Robert Harris and the Tribute Bike on its fundraising efforts to help our country’s Homeless Veterans she is busy doing volunteer work at American Legion Post 99 in Brooksville , Florida. Carla helps with the posts feeding program as well as donating items which the homeless need. Coming from a childhood of extreme poverty Carla knows first hand what hunger feels like and her volunteer work to help feed the hungry comes from the heart . Carla stated that the feeling she gets from helping the less fortunate cannot be described in words. Being a very religious person she simply sums it up with “ I am doing Gods work” God Bless her and all the others who volunteer their time to help the down trodden.
